WE THINK WE'VE TURNED THE CORNER YESTERDAY. I'M BREATHING A LITTLE EASIER BUT NOT STRONG ENOUTH TO GET OUT BEYOND THAT. A TRIP FOR BLOOD WORK OR DOC. The message this week made me think about the kind of change Jesus makes in us,change from the inside out. And how this is often a slow process. I have a lot of hopes and dreams stored in my heart and I am just bursting to let them out. My theme for the past two years has been patience. I can honestly say that God has grown me into a patient person. I get excited about things and want things so quickly and I tend to be all over the place. But now I am different. God is all about working on our character. "Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently search for him." Hebrews 11:6 My desire right now is to keep building my faith and be the "best cupbearer" I know how to be. Keep trusting in him at all times! God is always at work and wants to use you. Psalm 37:4 God has downloaded some new desires in my heart over the past few months. I have had always had a desire for women to grow and mature in their relationship with the Lord but recently just been burdened for our community and outreach to women that aren't even a part of our family. Several weeks ago I read an article in the Springfield Newsleader about a excersise class called Zumba and how these classes are being held in churches around Springfield. I had been carrying this article around in my Bible for several weeks. I wasn't sure how to get this outreach started but God had a plan. Two young ladies in our church had a desire to teach classes and have been attending Zumba classes in Springfield. The Lord connected us and starting this fall Zumba will be offered at Springhill. Wow! I'm praying this will be such a great opportunity for outreach in our community. I can't wait to see how the Lord is going to use this to bring people to Himself. I'm not sure what this will look like but I don't have to. If the Lord puts something on your heart keep praying and pursuing it. He has a plan it may involve you and others. What a blessing to take that step of faith and follow the desires He puts on our hearts. “Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
